Saddler squad dreamteam

Having watched the pre season friendlies, as Hutchings experimented with the squad, changed formation and added 6 new players, the time is upon us to choose the squad as the season opens next week.

From a humble approach to Wolves, where they perhaps paid the premier outfit a little to much respect, to a valiant display against hotshots Aston Villa.

The game against Coventry was encouraging but the 4-3-3 formation arguably put holes in the team. However, the 4-4-2 adopted at the end of the game and in the Aston Villa game boosted the team's morale and produced a tougher performance.

So here's my view of the Saddler team to start the season:

Brain
Stokes
McDonald
Lancashire
Westlake
Marshall>
Richards
Taundry
Jones
Deeney
Nicholls

So there it is!

Do you agree/disagree? Who would you choose instead? Would you put Smith instead of Lancashire? Comment in the forum!
