Hornets edge closer to Deeney bid

Watford boss has made a strong hint he they will not rest until they can secure the players they want.

Deeney has been the subject of three bids, all rumoured to be from Watford, and the London club tries to boost their squad.

Deeney is undeniably a huge part of the Walsall squad, and to lose him would leave a prominent hole in the Saddler team. He scored 14 goals last season and played a significant role in Saddler's 10th place finish.

Speaking on the official site the Watford Boss, Malky Mackay said: 'We`re probing and we`ll just keep chipping away until the people are signed."

"Be assured that we`re trying our hardest for this football club to get people in and to get good quality players in." He continued

Keep checking back for updates as the Deeney question looms over Saddler heads.
