Andrew Barrowman to leave!!!

Last season some Blues fans were surprised that Andrew Barrowman had been allowed to leave after some promising displays in the Blues reserves. However the panic buy for the scotish striker never really got off the ground at Bescot.

However his name appeared on a list of players been up for sale according to the PFA, and now this story in the Express and Star. So is the writting on the wall for Andrew.

Unfortunatly the Bescot faithful have not seen the best of Barrowman as he struggled to make an impression in a struggling team and a team failing to supply decent service to the front line. However as his confidence drained away some poor misses and poor choices on the pitch turn the fans against him. Having another year on his contract, (why did Merson give him an 18month deal)this was always going to be a year to rebuild his career.

If the unconfirmed story does prove to be true then it will be interesting to see if his contract will be paid up if nobody comes in for him. A more likely solution is that they hope someone will come and offer him a new club and new deal, otherwise he will be sent out on loan. It is possible Richard Money is trying to free up some money in attempt to bring quality rather than quanity into the club.

We will have to wait for the official story.

One of those deals that could turn into a money spinner if the player comes good. Unfortunately, there's more that don't come off than do.
