Morrell hopes fade

According to Andy's agent he wants to weight up his options, however a key factor is he doesn't want to move from his current home. This seems to rule out Southend who were also after his signiture.

The down side is his agent has also stated that he feels the striker will not drop into league two since there are a couple of championship clubs and some interest from league one teams, some of which maybe in commuting distance.

So the choice could be simple, sit on the bench at a championship club and take the money. Travel a bit further and play in league one or come to us in league two, major financial investment and charm offensive required to pull this one off.

It seems like he wants his cake and to eat it too. It could be his downfall if he's not careful.
