Mattis signs for Chesterfield

Dwayne Mattis has wasted little time in finding a new club in Chesterfield, two and half weeks after being released from Walsall.

He chose Chesterfield after being impressed by manager John Sheridan's view for the club moving forward, as reported on the Walsall Web Fans site.

It is an exciting time for the Spireites as they move into a new stadium, B2Net. They finished 8th last season in league two, so no doubt will be pushing for promotion next deason
