Backing Money

Well we have had poles, Jeffs statements but what is the true feeling about new manager Richard Money.

Well for one I can't remember such a positive vibe around a club thats has just suffered it's second relelgation in three season, than the one comming out of Bescot at the moment.

The chairman who seems to have shed some of his caution, which contributed to us getting in this mess, seems to be proven right to change manager and in his selection of Richard Money. So far so good.

So whats happening, well Richard has spoken openly about the issues within the club, issues which fans have been screaming about. He also seems to be backing the talk with clear decisive actions. A proffessional attitude has returned to the club. Training, goal setting, responsibility plain talking..we can certainly tell the difference between the Money period and the Merson era.

To top it all the two signings to date, which meet our budget constraits have the promise of goals. Richard said he wanted proven performers at this level. That exactly what we have brought in. Too often we have been promised things only for the reality to come short of expectations.

So to a team which despite the shortcommings topped league one in August has the promise of the cutting edge which was cruelly ripped out of the team in January when we were in 11th place. So it is clear where the hope generated from, but we have to have our feet on the ground, every club in the league will be feeling equally confident.
