Claridge Back at Bescot

Claridge Back at Bescot

The chances are Stevie Claridge will be at Bescot next season, However it appears that he will be wearing a Swindon Town shirt.

After appointing Denis Wise and Gus Poyet as there player manger team, Swindon seem intent in re investing there one milion pound windfall into getting back into league one at the first attempt.

Having already got Christian Edwards and Lee Peacock up front, they are loking to add the experience of Steve Claridge to the team, in what would be Denis Wises first move into the transfer market.

There was mixed feelings amoung saddlers fans when we released Claridge, but we wish him well. Swindon will get a very fit 40 year old who will hold the ball up well and link other players into play. However don't expect much pace as his legs have seen better days.
