Walsall are 1- 0 down against Stockport with a hill to climb, after losing Troy Deeney for a deliberate hand ball in the area.

Jabo Ibehre safely put the struggling Stockport ahead with the resulting penalty.

Mattis recovered in time from an achilles injury to go back into midfield, replacing Josh O' Keefe. Matthew Richards still out with an ankle complaint.

Nicholls is also on the bench, with Darren Byfield going back into the starting line-up.
