Weston gives Saddlers vital support

Rhys Weston has given the Saddlers a confidence boost ahead of Saturday's journey to Stockport.

Despite negativity surrounding the side throughout a disappointing run of results and the defeat at Exeter, Weston told the Walsall FC official site that they must forget past errors and continue to strive their hardest for results.

He said: 'We'll dust ourselves down, get our heads right and prepare properly in the week to go again at Stockport on Saturday. Exeter is in the past now, we must look forward and put things right on Saturday.'

He added: 'You can go through the performance with a fine-toothed comb and try to address where it went wrong but, at the end of the day, we just came up a little bit short against Exeter.'

Weston's attitude will no doubt boost team morale and hopefully translate into a positive performance come Saturday night. Please?!
