VITAL PREVIEW: Saddlers face tough trip to Oldham

OLDHAM vs SADDLERS (L1, KO 3pm)

After the impressive 1-0 win at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday, the Saddlers face another tough trip to the Latics of Oldham.

Julian Gray is expected to meet up with the squad, after penning a deal till the end of the season on Friday. Steve Jones is still short of fitness and will not feature.

Skipper Mark Hughes and fellow defender Manny Smith will resume their places at the heart if the back four after recovering from their injuries.

Oldham will be without Jon Worthington, Andy Holdsworth, Kelvin Lomax, Rob Purdie and Lewis Alessan.

PREDICTION:

I can see us winning this one if we can stay solid at the back - Hughes and Smith are short of match practise, so this maybe difficult for us. The capture of Julian Gray will allow Matty Richards to move into the centre of midfield and give us a bit more creativity and solidness in the middle with Dwayne Mattis.

All in all, I'm going to optimistic and say 1-0 Saddlers! I think Saddlers fans agree too!
