Saddlers draw a blank against Rovers

Saddlers draw a blank against Rovers

WALSALL 0-0 BRISTOL ROVERS (L1)

This was a game, which had all the hallmarks of a stalemate, and it gave us no surprises.

Wayne Brown nearly gave the visitors the lead in the first half, but youngster Daryl Westlake proved why he was in the starting eleven with a goal-saving challenge.

Despite the Pirates dominating the proceedings, Clayton McDonald nearly won it for us in the last minute, only for his header to rebound off the bar.

All in all, a game which saw the winless run extend to eight games. More is needed!
