Despite playing at Underhill for 99years, Barnet are in dispute with the local council. Two issues one is the need for £100,000 worth of saftey improvements at one end of the ground. The other is down to road access, Priory grove the main access is now deemed to be for emergency vechicles and pedestrians only. This means that the ground would not meet with the football league regulations. Although the council have said that permission could be granted if a fee (100K) and all up keep of the road is carried out by the club. Barnet feel this action is illegal but with the club having to confirm where they are going to play there home games shortly to meet FA deadlines they maybe forced to pay up or move.
