Rusty Saddlers face Canaries

Rusty Saddlers face Canaries

WALSALL vs NORWICH league one (KO 7.45pm)

The Saddlers go into this important clash against leaders Norwich with doubts cast over the fitness of skipper Mark Hughes.

Hughes has been carrying an ankle problem, which may mean a first start for Clayton McDonald since he signed a permanent contract from Man City.

Steve Jones will face a late fitness test to see if he is ready to play his first game of 2010.

For the visitors, skipper Grant Holt will miss the game to start serving his three match ban, while full-back Russell Martin is a doubt, with Zak Whitbread waiting in the wings to step in.

PREDICTION: Away win is most likely I'm afraid, as although we do perform better against the bigger sides at home, we are still rusty having only played one game in four weeks. 2-1 Norwich.
