TRANSFER TALK: Saddlers miss out on Deano

Why does it seem to be a case of same old story if you're a Saddler? Deano seemed to turn his back on a possible return to the Saddlers by signing for League One rivals Wycombe Wanderers.

The 31-year-old has signed a deal with the Chairboys, which will see him remain at the Buckinghamshire outfit till the end of the season.

Hutch had reportedly mulled over whether to move for Deano and seal his third return to the club. However, budgets becoming smaller due to freak weather conditions causing postponements will have no doubt had an impact on his decision.

Damn! This was one player I was hoping would return for us, after DD and Co cocked up when Deano left for Peterborough back in the day. We need more goals from midfield, maybe just a winger now so that Richards can play in the middle and score more goals. Let's wait and see what happens!
