Ex-Saddler captain passes away

The Championship winning Walsall skipper of 1959/60 Harry Haddington has died at the age of 78.

The defender made the switch from our near neighbours West Brom in 1953, where he made 235 senior appearances for the Saddlers at the old Fellow Park.

Vital Walsall would like to express its deepest sympathies with the friends and family of Harry.

The funeral arrangements are available on www.saddlers.co.uk.
