Pitch inspection at Southend

Pitch inspection at Southend

Yet Walsall fixture has been left in doubt after a pitch inspection was called by the ref for our next game at Roots Hall.

A 4pm pitch inspection will take place this afternoon to determine whether the pitch is playable for the 3pm KO on Saturday.

In other news, the Charlton game at the Banks's, which fell victim to the weather over the Christmas period, has been re-arranged for the second time, due to the fixture clashing with a 'four-day event.'

To have the fixture on the same day as this event would be a breach of the safety certificate and as a consequence of the evnt not being able to be movec, the football game was moved instead.

We really do not help our cause, it's no wonder Norwich and other supporters across the country laugh at us!

The fixture will now take place on Tuesday 2nd February (KO 7.45pm).
