Walsall miss striker target

Walsall miss striker target

Ex Saddler Andy Bishop today agreed to a two year deal with Bury. This will come as a blow to some saddlers fans who had built up the possibility of Matty Fryatts old strike partner returning to Bescot.

Bishop who had been prolific with York City in the Conference this year could be viewed as quiet a coup for Bury who seem intent on improving on there flirtation with relegation last season.

It is expected Walsall will turn to more experienced strikers bearing in mind the number of younger strikers we have at the club.

Was he really a possibility? It doesn't always work out when players return for a second spell. Just checked my guttering and it looks like it'll be ok till next summer. lol
