Xmas Preview: B Rovers vs Saddlers

Yes folks, it's that time of year again where we enter the Christmas football period.

This year sees the Saddlers travel to Bristol Rovers over the Christmas weekend in a bid to close the gap on the top six.

Providing the weather holds off, this encounter will be a battle of two teams who want to break into the Playoffs.

As far as the Saddlers team news goes, there are still doubts over Steve Jones, who has missed the last two weeks with a groin injury.

However, skipper Mark Hughes is back from suspension to captain the side.

If the weather holds off, this should be a classic encounter with the Saddlers hoping to nuck all three points. Anything will be better than our last visit to the Memorial Ground...a result we do not mention.

Season Greetings Saddlers fans!
