'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Micheal Leary wants to stay

In a report given to the local press tough tackling midfielder has not ruled out a move to Bescot on a longer term basis.
Leary is out of contract at Luton and his future is very much up in the area

I would be interested in signing longer-term,' he said. 'This is a good club with a great bunch of lads and I think we have been unfortunate to go down. We've had no luck at all in the last few weeks of the season.

'Despite the disappointment of relegation I've enjoyed it here and gained some valuable experience. But I've got to find out what's happening at Luton first. I'll go back and talk to Mike Newell to see what he is thinking.'
