West Brom are coming to Bescot

Ian Ropers testimonial game is going to be against WBA. The game is scheduled for 15th July with a 3pm kick off. The admission prices will be 10 and 5 for concessions.

The Albion are bound to bring a strong team and provide astern test. As both teams try to build for a successful season following relegation. I would also expect a large following of boing boing supporters. Lets hope the result is more of the 4-1 thrashing we gave them at Bescot that fateful August afternoon, not the dismal performances we saved for the Hawthorns.

Other preseason games announced are Villas regular trip to Bescot on the 21st July at 7-45pm. Also plans are afoot to play Manchester Utd but as happened in the last couple of seasons I would expect a second string to turn up. Of course no Roy Keane this year
