'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Chairman admits faults

After we had held polls and also text polls in the local papers had all pointed the finger at Chairman Jeff Bonser for his part in the failings of the club since that fateful win on Boxing day at Cardiff, today he finally held his hands up.

He also has admitted that he realises that he has to win the fans over again, and prove to the saddles supporters he is determined to the right thing for the sake of the club.
'I've been unsuccessful in the last couple of years, and I'm the person who is ultimately responsible- the buck stops with me'

I don't think there are many of the Bescot faithful who would disagree

'Ive made mistakes that I regret and they have played a part in the club struggling, but there's nothing more I can say about the past'

This is the ststement many saddlers wanted, but the timing does raise the question ..is it just to stem the tide of unrest and stop the protest at saturdays game?

He has offered to run round naked with a placard on his back.....one way of sending the crowds down even further, Jeff
