'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gills Pub guide

The following e-mail says it all, I know other sites have recieved the same.

As you all know Gillingham are due to play Walsall this saturday at Gillingham.

I, together with my husband are the Licensees of the 'Livingstone Arms' in Gillingham and I just wanted to let Walsall supporters know where to come for a warm welcome, cold beer and 'complimentary' bar food when playing at Gillingham.

We are 10 mins away from the train station, the same from the coach car park and are situated approximately 100 yards from the 'away turnstiles'.

We are known as the 'Away Supporters' pub even though we do get some home supporters in. We are a sports orientated pub with 5 t.v.s and a 8ft big screen showing all the football even two different games at the same time! Our pub is smothered in football shirts mostly donated by away fans appreciating our hospitality. Even though there is a fish 'n chip shop and a kebab shop close by we provide 'complimentary bar food' before the game which in these winter months goes down extremely well. We have sufficient staff working on footie days who are pleasant and very welcoming to all - therefore waiting for a pint isn’t an issue!!

We welcome not only Walsall fans but all fans visiting Gillingham. Myself and my husband Trevor together with all my staff hope to see you for the forthcoming game.

Other pubs of note are, Will Adams in Saxton Street and also Southern Bell which is opposite the station about 8 to 10 minute walk.

Let the wake begin
