Off to the Pool!

After last Saturday's disappointing draw at home to Swindon, the Saddlers embark on a trip to the North East to face a struggling Hartlepool side.

Mark Bradley has stated his determination to regain his starting place, but he will have to push Matty Richards out of the way if he is to have a chance.

Unfortunately, the squad is starting to be exposed, with long-term injuries to Clayton Ince, Peter Till and Richie Taundry.

Three points will be a much needed tonic to propell the Saddlers up the table and nearer the top ten.

In other news, 58% voted that Mark Hughes is the right choice as captain.

The new skipper has settled in well and despite minor injuries, Hughes has made a positive impact.

Our new poll asks: are you happy with the start to the new season? Cast your votes now!!
