Bescot Beat: Win on the Wirral!

Bescot Beat: Win on the Wirral!

In recent weeks, many of us have often wondered where the goals are coming from, even when Hutch grabbed onto Darren Byfield before anyone else could lure him.

We all said this year was going to be a long hard season, but that may not be the case.

Last season's up and down antics seemed to have not disappeared, with a win, draw, draw, loss, draw, win etc being visable in the ever depressing form guide.

Now, with a near fully fit Byfield leading the attack, it seems that we are going to kick-start the season.

Sods law we conceeded goals against a tame Tranmere side, who have individual brillance to thank for even being anywhere near claiming a draw.

We showed how fantastic our team spirit is and how far we have come in a short space of time. Also, Alex Nicholls is proving to be a live-wire down the right-hand side, and even though he sees himself as a striker, he does not score enought to warrant a start there and provides more of a threat down the wing.

All in all a good week, and I'm a happy Saddler! Bring on the Swindon!
