Son of Rod signs on loan

The son of former Saddlers striker Rod McDonald has signed from Premiership big spenders Man City on a months loan.

20-year-old defender Clayton McDonald arrives at the Saddlers with a high reputation, having skippered the Man City reserves last season.

He may make his debut in tonight's JPT tie with Bury.
