'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Attitude at club stinks

In tonights Express and Dingle Ex saddler Don Goodman has some harsh words for the younger players at Bescot, he pulls no punches. These comments are bound to attract the attention of fans and playing staff a like. I would not be surprised if the club didn't make some comment in response.

He states
'As for walsall, there is almost a cancer ripping through the club at an alarming rate'
At walsall, some of the youngsters don't appreciate just how lucky they are.'

'...young player's attitudes sink. Theres no discipline and they don't know they're born'

'and at least one of them has been a regular first teamer this season'

These comments not only ask a question of the previous management but also the workings of current coaches Mick Hassall and Mark Kinsella, who are strongly involved in the youth and reserve team development.

As for the un named first teamer highlighted for special mention no one knows for certain but we all know the player who didn't know when we played and missed the coach to Bristol City. I also believe it was the same player who didn't know the fixture list. It must be mentioned that it was issues like these that were supposed to have lead to another player been loaned out to Burton Albion.

KB has stated that there is major work to do at Bescot, Don Goodmans comments following doing fitness work at the club seems to prove a point.

KB I just hope KB makes the players read the article before tomorrows game....go on lads prove them wrong.
