'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jorge's one to watch

After another class performance at the McAlpine stadium in midweek, our man to watch is Danny Schofield.

Danny Schofield
Height 5.10
Weight 11.06
Date of birth 10-04-1980
Place of birth Doncaster
Position Midfielder
Nationality England

Despite failing to hit the back of the net in his las tten games Danny Schofield has scored ten goals in the league so far. This isn't a bad return from midfield. In a career that started at non league Brodsworth he made the switch to Huddersfield for the bargin fee of £2000 in August 1998. Making just one appearance that season in the championship.

In total Danny has made 158 league appearances scoring 32 league goals, his overall strike rate is an 0.17 goals per game.

In recent games Danny has picked up ffour yellow cards although his total is only five for the whole season. Plus on dismissal against Worcester in the televised FA Cup game.

How we stiffle the skills of Danny Schofield will have a direct bearing on the out come of saturdays game, but make no mistake Huddersfield are not a one man team and are infact one of the strongest teams in league one.
