'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sam Parkin joins Walsall

Former Luton striker Sam Parkin has become the latest addition to the squad, and will travel up to Rotherham for the start of pre-season on Saturday.

The 28-year-old was released following Luton's relegation out of the FL and is seen as a target man with a quality touch.

He has signed a one-year deal and will hope to prove himself as a worthy addition to the first team.

Hopefully he will produce the goods for us on a regular basis, we've not had a decent striker for ages
