Ex-Saddlers defender signs for Wycombe

Former Walsall defender Chris Westwood has signed a two-year deal with League One newboys Wycombe Wanderers.

The 32-year-old completed his move after he was released by Peterborough.

Westie made 69 appearances for the club and scoring five goals. He was part of our 2007 League Two title-winning side and even made it into the PFA Team of the Year.

However, Westie left after he was not offered a new contract by then boss Dickie Dosh to join Peterborough United.

He was part of their side last season that won promotion to the Championship.
