Walsall fans have hit panic alarm on the message boards at Jabo leaving because Walsall have only now got two senior strikers in Alex Nicholls and Troy Denney with the back up of Josh Craddock and Will Grigg.
Jabo had a commendable work rate and fans seem to have took him in regard as a lethal tailsman after his brace against Huddersfield and winner at MK Dons. But fans need to remember if Jabo hadn't so woefully finished Walsall probably would have been about ten points better off. I lost count of the times where matches were goal less and Jabo missed a glorious chance only for the opposition to go down the other end to score.
Jabo's goal have hardly proved vital - in all he scored two winners against Carlisle United and MK Dons and sealed one point with a goal against Yeovil. So the rest of his goals have come in matches where Walsall have gone on to lose, Swindon - Hartlepool and Huddersfield.
Jabo may have a two year contract but the move would seem bad in his career as expectations will be higher for him at MK where results are demanded immediately. Walsall Football Club was a place which nurtured Jabo - fans who appreciated his efforts - made him a cult hero a real family club. This cannot be said of the MK Dons who are a labelled franchise with no heart.
