Sign up or leave! - Hutchings

Some Saddlers fans can be forgiven for feeling a little nervous over the size of the squad going into pre-season, no more so for CH, who wants his stars to sign by Monday or leave for good!

Seven players remain unsigned for the new season, including Jabo Ibehre, Manny Smith, Netan Sansara, Clayton Ince, Rene Gilmartin, Chris Palmer, and Sofiene Zaaboub.

T&T international Ince is currently on duty for his country and has therefore not had time to sign a deal, but fresh rumours of a move for super striker Jabo Ibehre to MK Dons are circulating the press.

As for the others, there has been no sign of them putting pen to paper and committing their future to the club.

Hutch told the Birmingham Mail: "The players have until Monday or Tuesday next week to let us know their decisions.

"From the time the letters went out they have had a month to decide whether to accept them or renegotiate.

"They have been in touch with us throughout that month. They have had four weeks to negotiate with us and to go over any aspects of the offers, and we now need decisions so we can plan ahead.

"If we don`t hear from them then we will start to withdraw the offers.'

Hutch has found it hard to make any plans for the new season while his stars remain in limbo-land.

He added: "It has been a frustrating time for me because I haven`t been able to put down in black and white what I have and what I need to get.

"It is their prerogative to look around to see what else is on offer and I am sure their agents have been touting them around other clubs, that`s their job.

"They are looking for better deals but the grass isn`t necessarily greener on the other side.

"It has left us in limbo really and we can`t really move on until we have the players` decisions."
