Time Gentlemen Please!

Time Gentlemen Please!

It's a time of stick or twist for the Walsall players who must now decide whether to sign or hope for something better. But one thing is clear Hutchings is playing hardball with only a limited amount of time for the players to decide.

Manager Hutchings then went onto say that once the the players offered contracts have decided he will move onto targets he has eyed up since coming to the club.

Richard Davies earlier in the week accepted his contract but he is on his own and except for Jabo Ibhere's frank statement he wants to stay the other players motivations are unclear.

Clayton Ince - apparently being watched by Forest, Swindon and Swansea.
Rene Gilmarton - might accept a contract from a lower divison club as he aspires to be the next Joe Murphy by his own admission.
Chris Palmer - despite his agent/brother's claims he was wanted by Leeds United and Nottingham Forest in January, I think the versatile player would struggle to get into the Bloxwich United team.
Manny Smith - would be very unwise to move as it could hinder his steady progress.
Netan Sansara - strongly linked with a possible Bosman to Watford but this would see a compensation fee paid out to the Saddlers.
Sofiene Zaaboub - not linked
Jabo Ibhere - was strongly linked with a move to Tranmere Rovers with former skipper Stephen Hughes.
