Championship club eye Deeney bid
Preston North End are rumoured to be eyeing a bid for Walsall striker Troy Deeney.
The 20-year-old scored 13 goals in all competitions last season, nine of which came in the first 12 games of Chris Hutchings's tenure.
Deeney is allegedly attracting interest from clubs in the higher divisions, which would almost spell the end of his Saddlers career.
It is also speculated that Wigan are interested, as they have allegedly sent scouts to the Banks's Stadium to report his progress.
