'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Walsall release three big-names

Saddlers boss Chris Hutchings has wielded his axe over some of the bigger names at the Banks`s Stadium.

Former on-time England striker Michael Ricketts, ex-Arsenal midfielder Stephen Hughes and Paul Boertien have not been offered new deals by the club.

Youth product Hassan Bacchus has also been released after failing to make an impact on the team.

Hutch told the official website: "We would like to thank Stephen, Michael, Paul and Hassan for their efforts during the course of the season and wish them all the very best for the future."
On the other hand, Clayton Ince, Rene Gilmartin, Manny Smith, Netan Sansara, Sofiene Zaaboub, Jabo Ibehre, Richard Davies and Chris Palmer have all been offered new deals for the new season.
