Stars key for Hutch

Manager Chris Hutchings has sung the praises of his Walsall side after last Saturday`s victory at MK Dons.

Hutch singled out Jabo Ibehre for his winner, as well as the defensive display of Manny Smith and the want-away Anthony Gerrard.

He told the Birmingham Evening Mail: "He (Jabo Ibehre) was working very hard earlier in the season but it was Troy Deeney who was scoring all the goals, but the boot is on the other foot now because it is Troy who is working hard.

"Jabo has got pace and strength and we say to him he has to be positive.

"It is unfair to pick people out, as I have always said, but the back four did very well as well and Manny Smith and Anthony Gerrard were very good."

Hutch will be hoping for more of the same next weekend, when the curtain closer of the 08/09 season sees the Saddlers take on Oldham at the Banks`s Stadium for a top ten finish.
