'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sad News

It is with the greatest sadness that I have the terrible duty of reporting the death of Oliver Hewitt at the age of 23. He was known as jolysaddler on Uts message board.

I had the pleasure to talk to 'Joly' on more than one occassion, and despite the difference in age the common bond of a love of Walsall FC broke all barriers.I for one will miss his contributions and the occassional crossing of swords.

Oliver passed away during the night, it would appear peacefully. He hadn't been feeling well since the weekend, but was adament it was flu and that he'd be back to normal within a couple of days.

Many thanks must go to the members of the UTS Board and philthesaddler for dealing with this sad matter in such a sad way.

Football isn't more than life and death, this brings a perspective to our lives
