KB signs Ex Blues Striker

Forty year old Steve Claridge will today sign for Walsall on loan until the end of the season according to reports in Bradford.

Having been told earlier in the month by Colin Todd that he could go and find another club despite hitting five goals in 14 starts plus sub appearences.

Claridge, will not be able to play for the Saddlers this weekend. Claridge will bring vast front line experience to both the first team and training ground. Inexperienced strikers such as Barrowman and Constable will surely benefit from his knowledge. He will also fit the bill in terms of a striker who will hold the ball up and has a good goal scoring record.

More details will follow, but rumour has it this is not the end of our interest in the loan market, and there could be a player leaving as well.....watch this space.
