'If It's Football, It's Vital'

I have a dream

Geoff Horsefield, is going nowhere Sheff Utd don't want to follow up there agreement and Albion don't want him back, telling Sheffield it is up to them to get another club to take over there obligations.

Here is the dream,
KB says to Geoff 'you live in the midlands, you are a hero at Blues and Albion. Come and be a Saddler, be a folk hero and score the goals that will keep us up and earn you a move back to the big time. Teach our young strikers what it is all about. The publicity would be good, no travelling so more time with your family everyones a winner.'

Jeff Bonser whos been listening says 'and as it's only two months wages I will use the rent from the ground to pay for it. It's a gamble but I am willing to take it.'

Oh....I woke up at that point, shattered dreams again.

The size of our wallet (or lackof it) is shown by the signing of Steve Claridge.
Big No 9
i understand..but you'll get value from Super Steve..this is what i wrote on Bradfords site yesterday...... "still a legend though. 100% for every club he played for. Scored the two biggest goals for Leicester that I can remember. Play off final winner against Palace in 96, then the Coca Cola final winner against Boro a couple of years later to get us in to Europe for first time in 35 years. Hero then, hero now. Much respect to the scruffy git - we love him." nobby
