Walsall's Gerrard Championship bound

Anthony Gerrard has handed in a transfer request following the club turning down a offer from an unnamed championship club, although both Blues and the Wolves have been rumoured to be showing interest. The club have not been too kind in blaming Anthony's agent in trying to engineer a move and unsettling the player. It is thought that ex Wolves centre half Gary Breen is been lined up as a possible replacement since he has been training with the Saddlers trying to maintain his fitness as he trys to sort out a club.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Gerrard gone by Friday!!
