Fox is our player of the season!
After publishing the top 50 league players, 4-4-2 magazine has reconised the contribution Foxy has made to the saddlers this season.
Danny Fox who from his debut game against Rotherham in August has shown he isn't affraid to put in a hard tackle. In fact his tackle whilst playing in Midfield on ex saddler Martin Butler was the moment of that particular match. He efforts were rewarded when Merse gave him the captains armband earlier in the season.
In more recent time he has been out injured. However he has been named in tonights reserves, along with Mads Timm and Paul Devlin. Given that Broadhurst has stated he wouldn't consider players returning from injury unless they had played in the reserves (are you listening Merse)It seems a fair assumption all three are in line to be considered on Sunday.
As for the 4-4-2 reconigition there are other players who might also be worthy such as Ant Gerrard, but you can not understate his contribution especially given his tender years.
