Keegan Ayre?

Keegan Ayre?

The answer would be Walsall's new trialist Keegan Ayre. Who is a Canadian international who goes by the nickname of Keggs. The young midfielder was touted for the big time and was named the best young Canadadian player in early 2006 and got himself a move to SPL side Hibernian.

Ayre struggling for first team opportunities was sent onloan to Berwick Rangers unitl the end of the season. Ayre then found himself surprisingly released in the summer by the Scottish outfit.

Ayre has already been linked with and apparently had trials with a number of League One and Two teams including Gillingham.

Is the young Canadian Walsall's find of the summer or everybody's else's cast off - only time will tell?
