Walsall confirm Mattis deal

Dwayne Mattis has joined the saddlers, the six foot midfield player has joined on a free transfer following his release by Barnsley.

Of course Dwayne was an instant hit in a five man midfield for us last season. However his run was cut short as the former Republic of Ireland under 21 international, broke his leg in the away win at Doncaster. The remained of the season was lost to recovery and regaining his fitness.

The Saddlers had already shown interest in the midfielder and once he had reached agreement with his employees as did fellow Barnsley player Reid, the path was open for him to return.

A welcome addition and a warm welcome is extended to Dwayne.
