Walsall's first signing

Walsall's first signing

Walsall have opened their £1m training complex - as they were boosted by the news that boss Jimmy Mullen has signed Doncaster centre half Steve Roberts.

This had been the rumour on some of the Doncaster sites. He would seem to be the type of defender we require at six foot one. However his recent injury record is a concern, but hopefully more to follow.

He's a great signing. He suffered with a few injuries, then when he got in the team it was about the time Donny's form improved last season. He then got sent off against Swansea and struggled to get his place back in the team. He was a crowd favourite at Rovers, good luck steve.
