Walsall fixture news

So the season kiks off on saturday 9th of August at 3pm and you will find the dedicated saddler fan at Yeovil.

The month see's us entertain Scunthorpe on the 16th (after the home cup tie against Darlington), followed by a bank holiday trip to Crewe the following saturday.

Christmas brings a Xmas shopping trip to Cheltenham on the 20th, with Stockport at home on boxing day, and the post Xmas hangover starts on the 28th at Tranmere, with the new year starting at Carisle on the third with no news day games this year.

The encounters with Leeds falls upon 31st of Jan at home having been at Elland road on October 25th, Leicester play us four days earlier on the 21st, when we travel to the crisp bowl. The foxes come to the Banks on tuesday 3rd feb just after the Leeds game.....two big weeks in our calander.

The run in, albeit, relegation promotion or mid table looks tough. having played Tranmere at home Easter saturday, we travel to Stockport for Easter monday. The last three saturdays have us at home to Huddersfield, followed by our first visit to MK Dons new stadium (good place for fancy dress though) with the league programme drawing to a close at home to Oldham.....rememeber that promo to the championship on the last day at home to Oldham , Wracks goal...oh what for a repeat!!!

I think Yeovila re going to really struggle this season as they are selling a lot of key players. You should be confident of an opening day win.
