Walsall's cup draw news

Walsall have been drawn against Darlington at home in the first round of the Carling cup. Not exactly a local tie to fire the imagination, but at least we are at home. The tie is likely to be on tuesday 12th August.
other highlights of the draw include..

Leicester v Stockport relegated meets promoted, the first culture shock for the boys from the crisp bowl.

Derby v Lincoln ....even Derby fans must fancy a win in this one

Sheffield Wednesday v Rotherham...repeat of last seasons game

Wolves v Accrington .....OH COME ON Accrington...wouldn't it be nice!!

Coventry v Aldershot, great tie for the new boys Scotty and Foxy

Wycombe v Birmingham ...Blues have found there level here!!!

Exeter v Southampton another good tie for the returning new boys, my tie of the round

Dagenham & Redbridge v Reading I bet this is one of the only sellouts along with chester v Leeds, Any big time Charlies in the Reading ranks may just have a bit of a culture shock coming

Ties take place week commencing 11th August

At home against Darlington, should be an easy enough passage to round two.
