Walsall beat Premier league to signing

Walsall have beaten off competition from a host of Premier League clubs to sign teenage sensation Sean Geddes. This flys in the face of numerous national and local press reports saying he was Premiership bound.

The 16-year-old Geddesa has agreed a one-year deal as an apprentice at the Banks`s Stadium however this is attached to a two year professional deal for when he turns 17.

The signing is a major coup for the Saddlers.

Premier League clubs including Newcastle, Bolton and Albion were all keen on the talented midfielder.

It is now up to the young hot prospect to turn potential into a career.
