Walsall's new manager is...

Jimmy Mullen was this afternoon appointed new Walsall manager.

The 55-year-old had been in temporary charge since the resignation of Richard Money.

Mullen`s former managerial posts include Burnley and Telford.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear

not the man to get the fans excited but perhaps the cheap option which many feared. On the positives he knows the club from been DD'S assistant last year, the players know him and he has experience of getting Burnley out of this division. However it is not an appointment that will get the fans off JB's back, especially if the transfer activity isn't at a level expected by the Walsall faithful and we will need to hit the ground running!!
