Whilst nobody doubts on his ability, Paul seems to forget he was injured for most of the time...Doh, Oh wait a minute he says he didn't spend enough time on his own fitness, an claim that was thrown at Merse on numerous occassions by frustrated Saddlers....case proven I think.
The other interesting point is the Sunday Mercury article also states Merse choose Tamworth over a 4k a week deal at Brighton, and a deal with Mad Dogs Brentford

Now thats an interesting thought.....
