Former Saddlers in England Squad

THREE former Walsall players have been named in the England Under 21s squad to play their Polish counterparts in a friendly at Molineux next Tuesday.
Scott Dann and Danny Fox, who signed for near-neighbours Coventry in January for a total amount of 2m, were amongst the surprise inclusions, along with former loanee Andy Surman also being named in Stuart Pierce's squad.
This could be good news for the club, because if Fox and Dann make an impact at Under 21 level and make it into the full squad in the future, their fees could be increased resulting in income for the Saddlers.
Therefore, we hope they do well.
